Course Overview
Section titled “Course Overview”An entry-level course that sets up everything else in STACKIT University. It explains STACKIT’s place inside the Schwarz Group and Schwarz Digits, walks through the three pillars behind the sovereign cloud promise — Scalable, Secure, Sovereign — and unpacks what each one actually guarantees in practice, from EU-only data centers to independence from foreign investors. From there it moves into the architecture itself: the IaaS and PaaS layers, how resources are managed through the Portal, API, CLI, and Terraform, and how the 6R framework (rehost, replatform, refactor, repurchase, retain, retire) maps existing workloads onto STACKIT services.
It’s built for anyone who needs a working mental model of STACKIT before going deeper — new customers, new partners, or new hires — so that later courses on the portfolio, portal, or sales don’t have to re-explain the basics. By the end, you’ll be able to place STACKIT correctly against hyperscalers and on-premise alternatives, and know which migration strategy fits a given workload.

Course Overview
Section titled “Course Overview”A short, video-centric course that gets you comfortable in the STACKIT Portal: how projects, resources, and IAM tie together, how the interface is laid out, and how to assign users to a project. From there it moves into using the Portal day to day — reading full cost transparency into a project, choosing infrastructure services, and setting up platform services and runtimes — so you leave able to actually operate in the Portal, not just recognize it.
It’s designed as a quick second step right after the STACKIT Introduction course, before diving into the full service portfolio or a specific role path.

Course Overview
Section titled “Course Overview”A guided tour of STACKIT’s portfolio at a glance: what Availability Zones are and how they underpin reliability, how to tell IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS apart and pick the right one, and how cloud-native applications actually run on STACKIT’s runtime offerings. From there it covers modern data and AI services, security and compliance, and the supporting services and interfaces (Portal and APIs) that tie the whole portfolio together.
It’s the third step of the STACKIT Fundamentals path — after the Introduction and the Portal — and gives every other STACKIT University path a shared map of “what exists” before going deep on any one part of it.

Course Overview
Section titled “Course Overview”A practical, 45-minute sales enablement course for anyone in a customer-facing partner role — sales, consulting, or strategy. It builds a one-sentence answer to “what does STACKIT do?”, a 30-second elevator pitch adaptable to business, technical, or casual audiences, and ready responses to the objections that come up every time: “isn’t STACKIT too new?”, “is this only for German companies?”, “how is this different from AWS or Azure?” It also covers how to translate STACKIT’s portfolio into hyperscaler-equivalent terms so technical audiences can map it to what they already know, before anchoring the conversation back on STACKIT’s own vocabulary.
The goal isn’t to turn everyone into a salesperson — it’s to make sure every partner can recognize a real opportunity in an ordinary conversation and knows exactly what to do with it: capture the right details and register it through the Partner Portal so it gets STACKIT’s support and your commission is protected.

Course Overview
Section titled “Course Overview”A 3-hour deep dive for certified partners who need to go beyond the elevator pitch. It starts with STACKIT’s company profile — its position within Schwarz Digits and the Schwarz Group, and the vision and mission behind the sovereign cloud strategy — then works through the unique selling points in detail: 100% EU-based data processing, the economic stability of being backed by the Schwarz Group, open-standards portability, and multi-layered, independently certified security. From there it covers the partner program itself (referral, reselling, and marketplace models, and how to register and track an opportunity through its full lifecycle in the Partner Portal), before moving into the product portfolio: the IaaS layer (compute, storage, network), the PaaS layer (managed databases, Kubernetes, messaging, logging), and the marketplace SaaS offerings built on top.
This is the course to take before a partner is expected to speak credibly about STACKIT’s full stack — not just what it does, but why a customer should trust it, which partnership model fits a given deal, and where to point a prospect for proof and documentation.

Course Overview
Section titled “Course Overview”This is the exam, not a course: 20 multiple-choice questions in a 30-minute window, with randomized questions and answer order, covering the five prerequisite courses in the STACKIT Partner Fundamentals path — STACKIT Introduction, the STACKIT Portal, STACKIT Portfolio, Sales for STACKIT Partners, and STACKIT Products and Services for Partners. A score of 80% or higher (16 of 20 correct) is required to pass.
Because it draws on all five prerequisites, it’s the checkpoint that confirms a partner is actually ready to represent STACKIT — not just that they sat through the material. Treat the earlier courses as the syllabus and this exam as the proof: it’s what turns “completed the training” into “certified partner.”
