Service Overview
Section titled “Service Overview”- Centralized Control: Collects and standardizes STACKIT audit logs into OpenTelemetry (OTLP) format.
- SIEM Forwarding: Routes log streams to external SIEM tools like Splunk, Elasticsearch, or S3 storage.
- 90-Day Audit View: Includes a free 90-day audit log viewing window in the STACKIT Portal.

Scope and Limits

- Supported Data Types: Currently, the service exclusively handles Audit Logs. Customers cannot send their own custom telemetry data (application logs, metrics, or traces) to the router; only STACKIT products have this capability.
- Destination Formats: For external routing, the router currently supports Object Storage (S3) and the OTLP protocol.
- Availability: The service is Generally Available (GA) in the regions EU01 (Germany) and EU02 (Austria).
- Pricing: Routing data to both internal STACKIT services and external destinations incurs fees.
