STACKIT Redis offers a fully managed in-memory data store designed to reduce database load and deliver sub-millisecond data caching.

## Technical Details
- **Architectures**: Available in Single Node and High-Availability Replica deployments.
- **Observability**: Features an integrated Prometheus proxy endpoint for direct metric scraping into STACKIT Observability.
- **Security**: Access guarded via strict IP allowlists, network firewalls, and isolated project VPCs.

## Limitations & Constraints
- **No Architecture Downgrades**: Upgrading to a larger plan introduces brief downtime; scaling down to a smaller plan is unsupported.
- **No BSI C5 Certification**: Excludes C5 compliance certification due to upstream framework operational boundaries.
- **Public Endpoint Security**: Accessible via public endpoints protected by ACLs (private endpoints unavailable).
