The official STACKIT SDKs provide idiomatic language bindings (Go, Python, Java) that abstract REST endpoints into clean function calls for custom software development.

## Service Overview
- **Accelerated Tooling**: Speeds up the development of custom internal developer portals, CLI utilities, and orchestrators.
- **Maintained Data Models**: Built directly from official OpenAPI specifications to reduce endpoint handling errors.
- **Secure Authentication**: Supports short-lived Workload Identity Federation (OIDC) without static API keys.

## Technical Details
- **Language Support**: Go (GA), Python (Beta), and Java (Beta).
- **Package Managers**: Distributed via Go Modules, PyPI (`stackit-core`), and Maven Central (`cloud.stackit.sdk`).
- **Core Architecture**: Features modular clients separating core authentication logic from specific cloud service packages.

## Limitations & Constraints
- **No State File Management**: Unlike Terraform, developers must manually handle state, idempotency, and rollback routines in code.
- **Lifecycle Status**: Python and Java packages are in Beta phase; SLAs vary compared to GA products.
- **Boilerplate Overhead**: Assembling full infrastructure topologies requires significantly more code than using IaC modules.
