The STACKIT CLI provides an imperative terminal interface to create, query, and manage STACKIT cloud resources quickly without opening a web browser.

## Service Overview
- **High Productivity**: Enables swift ad-hoc administrative actions and immediate system troubleshooting.
- **Script-Friendly**: Supports structured `--output-format=json` and `--assume-yes` flags for non-interactive execution.
- **Secure Local Storage**: Safely stores authentication credentials within the native operating system keychain.

## Technical Details
- **Binary Architecture**: Fast, compiled Go binary executing direct REST API calls.
- **Command Structure**: Intuitive `stackit [service] [resource] [action]` syntax (e.g., `stackit dns zone list`).
- **Pipeline Authentication**: Supports Service Account activations via `stackit auth activate-service-account`.

## Limitations & Constraints
- **Imperative Workflow**: Lacks declarative state files and automatic drift detection provided by Terraform.
- **No Dry-Run Engine**: Does not include a preview plan feature; failed bash scripts require manual resource cleanup.
- **No Native Cost Previews**: Does not calculate cost projections prior to provisioning resources via command strings.
