## Course Overview

A practical introduction to Ansible with a focus on the STACKIT Cloud: how agentless automation replaces manual, error-prone server configuration with simple, readable YAML files. The course covers what Ansible is, how it differs from other automation tools, and when it's the right choice for stateful versus stateless server scenarios, then builds up from ad-hoc commands to complete deployment workflows.

Across six modules you create playbooks, tasks, and roles, use Ansible Galaxy, apply Jinja2 templating for dynamic configuration, and configure SSH ProxyJump for isolated STACKIT networks — finishing with STACKIT API integration, dynamic inventories, and combining Ansible with Terraform for end-to-end infrastructure as code.
