STACKIT File Storage provides managed NFS network file shares for multi-instance data sharing.

## Service Overview
- **Shared Data Access**: Concurrent high-performance read-write access for multiple VM instances.
- **Kubernetes RWX Support**: Native ReadWriteMany (RWX) volume support for STACKIT Kubernetes Engine (SKE).
- **Snapshot Protection**: Integrated file share snapshot routines for fast file-level recovery.

## Technical Details
- **Access Control**: IP-based export rules with Read-Write (RW) or Read-Only (RO) permissions.

## Limitations & Constraints
- **No Native SMB/CIFS**: Windows file share protocols (SMB/CIFS) and Active Directory joins are currently unsupported.
- **No iSCSI LUNs**: Delivers file-level NFS exports only; block-level iSCSI LUN provisioning is unavailable.
